This six minute, 30 second video shows the potential of location-based, multi-user AR.
In October, 2020, the AR testbed created by Augmented.City was the site of a history making project. Spatial cinema was born, spatial cinema being filmmaking created with an AR component.
The short film is called Bubiko: First Flight. In this video the testbed is explained, as are the roles of the OARC (Open Augmented Reality Cloud), Novaby (makers of the 3D model), and Stephen Black (the producer).
Bubiko and her blimp represent the possibilities of digital objects interacting with the physical world in the emerging world of location-based AR.
