Turn OFF ASUS Aura or Aura sync lights when your PC is shutdown or sleeping in ASUS Armoury Crate software

Having the Motherboard RGB still going when the Computer is shut down but still powered can be annoying if the PC is in a room you are sleeping in or if you just want to save your electricity bill.

The RGB at the shutdown state can be easily turned off fully in the new Armoury Crate software but the option is slightly hidden in a similar way as it was in the original Aura sync program.

In Armoury Crate on the left hand side go to devices then select your motherboard from the list of supported components, then in the shutdown state you can simply move the toggle option to the off position or select the black option in the custom colour palette. Both will set the LED brightness to zero and achieve the same desired outcome.
