briggs and stratton 3.5hp push mower with kill switch. in this video i demonstrate how i wired up a kill switch

step 1: remove the engine cover with 2 bolt in back and 1 in the front

step 2: cut the kill wire coming from the coil and attach it to another wire that you have leading to the kill switch and then put the other side of the switch to ground which in this case for me it was where the old engine brake was

CAUTION ⚠️ DON'T TIGHTEN THE BOLT THAT I HAVE FOR GROUND WITHOUT PUTTING A WASHER BETWEEN THE BOLT AND ENGINE IT WILL PUNCH THROUGH THE BLOCK IN THE OIL PAN
