A spontaneous perusal of the collection of 50 prints known collectively as the Mantegna Tarot and created in the mid 1400s with images reminiscent of a tarot deck.
Reviewing a deck before reading about it has its advantages, we can make our own observations and connections before reading what the historians have to say about it.
I accidentally called the Astrology card Philosophy a few times. Please forgive my senior moment.
The colored deck was published by Lo Scarabeo and I believe it is currently oop.
