The week from the 2nd to the 8th of September has been Organ Donation week at the NHS, a week where people are encouraged to have honest discussions about donation with their doctors and families.
We've spoken to doctors at West Cumberland Hospital about the reason for the awareness week.
We've also met up with a transplant recipient who this year won two gold medals at the British Transplant Games.
