This video shows a method to fix the completely uncomfortable factory headrests in a 2005-2012 Mustang. It is like Ford designed these headrests with someone who prefers a hunched over (forward head) position. In 2013 and later model years, the dreadful design was replaced with adjustable headrests so eventually common sense prevailed with Ford's designers. My options were: 1) sell the car (I hated the forced neck position that badly), 2) deal with chronic neck pain each time I drove the car, 3) replace headrests for aftermarket versions @$300 USD, 4) modify the stock headrests for $0
Disclaimer: this video is not providing advice. In fact, I don't recommend you modify your factory issued headrests at all. I am simply showing you what I did to make the cars seating position not a turd experience.
