In her talk, Tam explores how self-regulation is essential for families and children to not only cope with but thrive in a world shaped by technology. Drawing from her journey as a mother and trainer about children's digital well-being and social-emotional learning, Tam will share simple yet effective strategies to boost self-regulation in families and schools. She'll take us through the joy of traditional games and the power of self-reflection and share the idea that learning about emotions is the navigator to help children navigate the digital world. Tam Le has been an edu-preneur, learning designer, and versatile manager in education technology companies. She is also a facilitator for social-emotional learning, entrepreneurship education, and digital literacy workshops for kids, teachers, and families. Her passion for learning and making learning fun has brought her to the Learning Education and Technology Program at the University of Oulu. She is interested in emotional intelligence and human-AI collaboration in learning to equip humans with vital 21st-century skills and digital well-being.
