Part III of the co-feature on this channel exploring the incredible back-catalogue of a much underrated but highly gifted, prolific and influential Argentinian producer, Luis Ruiz. The Ancients EP was one of the best examples of a new producer embracing abstract sounds and was a barometer for future epic material. The featured track, "Children Of The Gods" starts off as eerie, textured soundscapes but it veers into classic "X-102/3"-era UR/Mills grooves, with snares crashing and flailing as the spooky textures persist.
