Johnny Depp was seen smirking during the opening statements of his multimillion dollar defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard, when Heard's attorney told the jury that Depp was "obsessed with Elon Musk".

Depp is suing Heard, whom he was once married to, over an article she wrote in 2018 which implied that he abused her during their relationship.

Heard has listed Musk as a possible witness, as well as James Franco, Paul Bettany and Ellin Barkin.
