Plaza de Mayo is the oldest public square in Buenos Aires (1884), and has been the scene of many of the most important events in the city's history. Our local guide gives us very interesting information about Argentina, we have a little time to see the Casa Rosada balcony, where Evita gave her speeches and Madonna sung Don't Cry for Me Argentina, and to visit the the Metropolitan Cathedral which is where Pope Francis, as Archbishop Jorge Bergoglio, used to perform mass before assuming office in the Vatican in 2013. We then drive to La Boca (separate video).
