You can work for a company, join freelance sites, or go fully independent. Think of this in terms of a balance between ease and control.

Working for a company - in theory! - doesn't take much. The company supplies your students and you show up and teach.

Going independent means that you have to do everything yourself but you have full control over your prices, how you teach, and your future income (scalability).

Working for freelance sites is somewhere in the middle of these two. Know that you don't have to commit to one for life and that you can do a combination of the three.
