Ulon (Insane Demon) by OliSW | Geometry Dash

I had very mixed opinions with this level. Lets start with the gameplay itself. The gameplay is actually extremely fun, as I had a ton of fun practicing the level. The beginning also gets extremely consistent to the point where you get to 20% every single attempt. So overall, all the gameplay in this level is very fun. However, the gameplay is extremely unbalanced. Because of the beginning being so easy, it can get pretty boring. And when I first went from 0, I literally would die to 26% half the time, as that timing is so stupidly inconsistent. The first wave is extremely fun, but it has a lot of choke points and can be tedious. Afterwards, the ball is also pretty fun, but holy crap the timings are so inconsistent. Thankfully, the ship afterwards got pretty consistent with time, but beginning I would die to it every time. Now lets get to the memory part. This part is so unbalanced, as literally every timing is inconsistent. I would die out of nowhere if I clicked just a millisecond late. But despite that, I find the memory very fun. Now getting to the last part, I find it all to be very fun. But still, there are so many inconsistent parts, like the three blue pad timings in the ball. The wave is pretty easy, but I did die to it twice from 0. And after that is the ship which is extremely chokeable, and I died to it twice. And the 96 ship gap is so unforgiving. And I should also mention how unlucky I got, as I reached the memory part 32 times, and passed it 9 times. That means I died to the last part a total of 8 times, which is quite a bit. But enough with the gameplay, I just want to say how much I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE STYLE OF THIS LEVEL! I can gush over the deco as it is some of the best deco I have seen in a level. The color choices Oli made here were amazing, and I can't wait to play Shutdown after seeing what he's done here. Fingers crossed Shutdown is more balanced than this, as I love the style Oli does both decoration and gameplay.
