Eco no-mads is an independant project in which we explore our journey back towards sensibility, love, and right action.
How can we return to harmony with ourselves, each other, and nature? - is the main question the guides us.
In this video we delve into the abandoned foodforests of the golan hights- just near the israel-syria border, and discover how they may hold the key for a trully harmonious agriculture which our anccestors practiced.
with the generous help of our teacher for today, Amit Pompan, a dryland orchards expert, we'll learn exactly how to recreate these foodforests.
As a personal note- I wish the people who planted these trees would still live there to enjoy them. it's very sad for me to realise they were displaced through war. Although I can't change what has happened, I felt that exploring these abandoned orchards would be of great inspiration to the global movement towards sustainable Ag and ecosystem restoration.
