After pushing our frontline up slowly with CAS support we eventually reached Maykop airbase. Heavily protected by SA-10, SA-11 and SA-15 SAMs it drove away all attackers that attempted to get within Maverick range.

As long as the Command Center stayed alive their helicopters could resupply their SAMs and build more ground units. While the radio tower was alive it would call in resupply cargo aircraft to repair the airfield.

We decided on a less conventional attack approach. Use MLRS Rocket Artillery to distract the SAMs and force them to waste missiles shooting them down while a few Hornets tossed bombs from angels 40.
