This short video shows and explains how to replace the gaskets in control valves for barbecue grills with clamp-on valve installation.
The Gaskets in control valves seal the gas flowing through the manifold pipe to the burners through the control valves. These small gaskets can be damaged by age or more commonly by extremes of heat, cold, and moisture.
If a gasket is damaged gas will leak inside the control panel and will cause damage to multitudinous grill parts inside the control panel. The ignition wires, module, valve lubricant, and the valve seals are all quickly damaged if gas leaks from the clamp-on valve attachment.
These small gaskets are inexpensive and very simple to replace.
