Saw was given to me with a burnt out variable speed dc motor/controller. Scrapped the old unit in option of engineering an adapter for belt drive. The aluminum adapter plate i cast from old beer cans, the brass bushing from spent cartridge brass, and the spindle was an old CV axle from a Dodge Caravan.

Will cast and machine pulleys for it now and set it up with motor mount and tensioner.
