From leading contemporary dance group Cie Gilles Jobin, Cosmogony probes the possibilities of dance for the digital stage, in this large-scale real-time performance.

Geneva-based Cie Gilles Jobin has been at the forefront of contemporary dance for the digital stage. Its ground-breaking experiments with motion capture, virtual and augmented reality have fascinated audiences around the world.

Now, the company brings to Singapore a large-scale live dance work, Cosmogony. Cosmogony is a feat of the company's motion capture technology, where the data of the dancer's movements are sent through networks to be reconstructed, in real time.

Catch the dancers perform in real-time from Geneva - dancers will also connect their avatars in the 3D spaces on the screens to compose the cosmogony of a virtual world in suspension.

The performance is complemented by Dance Trail, an app that invites you to a self-guided augmented dance journey. Unlock surreal dance performances in the streets, in your neighbourhood, or in the palms of your hand.
