Rescue workers struggle to reclaim bodies after a five-story building in Gaza City's Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood was destroyed. Gaza's civil defence agency says this is because of “a lack of equipment" after Israel targeted a house, killing 22 people.
Medical sources have said dozens more were killed around midnight in another strike in northern Gaza. The death toll from that strike has not yet been announced.
