It was in the late 80s when the sleeper services from and to Kings Cross were withdrawn, so I got up early to capture the diverted 1M16 arriving into the cross from Inverness/Aberdeen/Fort William with 90044 on the front. This Caledonian sleeper service has been diverted since Monday 28/01 which is due to flood damage at Lamington on the WCML in Scotland. The Glasgow sleeper is still operating into Euston via Kilmarnock, but this could last into February.
