Nomadic livestock herders in East Africa's dry lands have endured climate variability for many years. Without proper forecasting technology, the farmers have remained completely exposed to the vagaries of the weather and resultant heavy losses. Not anymore. Two telecommunication engineers have developed an app that can be used with the simplest of phones. CGTN's Terry Wangari reports from Kenya's northern Marsabit county.
