Higher intensity exercises have been shown to be highly beneficial for older adults. Benefits include, increased bone density, decreased fall risk, and even help them stand taller!
In this video Dr. Katie demonstrates squats, deadlifts, and jumping that should be included (provided Dr. and PT clearance) in a daily exercise routine to help build strength for every day activities, like getting on and off the toilet, playing with grandchildren, and doing laundry.
