Liverpool Central Station lays on the Underground Section of the MerseyRail Network and almost has the same kind of feel as some of the stations between Moorgate and Highbury and Islington in London. All services are operated by MerseyRail using Class 507/508 units which are set to be retired in late 2020 in favour of new state of the art Class 777 units. Services run mostly every 15 minutes for each line that serves the station, meaning that through the centre of Liverpool Trains run at almost 6 minute frequency.

We are diving back through the archives to see how much footage we had recorded but never was used so please don't mind the sporadic placing of the videos at the moment!
