Union Cabinet has approved 12 new industrial nodes under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP) with an estimated investment of Rs. 28,602 crores. These industrial cities, strategically located across 10 states, will be developed as smart cities of global standards, embracing the 'plug-n-play' and 'walk-to-work' concepts.
Aligned with the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan, they will feature cutting-edge multi-modal connectivity infrastructure, enhancing manufacturing capabilities and fostering a dynamic industrial ecosystem. This is a step forward in realizing the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’.
