My LG V20 died after about 1 year of usage, just bricked, so now I'm using a OnePlus 6T and it's awesome! I would highly recommend OnePlus if you want an upgrade from the V20, it's way faster, way better screen, and is an overall better phone, great price too. Right now the 7 is the best bang for the buck, definitely check it out!

In this particular V20, the front facing camera is malfunctioning, leaving only the rear facing normal and wide-angle cameras functioning. Trying to use the wide-angle camera causes constant crashing.
The issue is: The wide-angle thinks it's the front facing camera, so there is no wide-angle camera, so as long as you don't use the wide-angle, your app will continue working.
If your app is crashing cuz it's trying to use the wide-angle camera that isn't allocated, go into Settings - App - Storage and "Clear Data". Now it will default to the normal rear facing camera, and function properly.
Using this work-around, you can continue taking pictures and videos using the rear facing camera, and wide-angle camera(selected through the selfie cam).
You could try replacing your front facing camera, and this may fix this issue, but I haven't tried that before.
