(29 Jan 2017) CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS IN LONDON
London celebrated Chinese New Year in Trafalgar Square on Sunday, with a street parade followed by a performance of a dancing dragon.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan and Chinese Ambassador to the UK Liu Ziaoming appeared on stage and spoke on global cooperation and togetherness.
Attendees spoke of London being an exciting place to celebrate New Year compared to quieter, family-centric events back home in China.
