Bjørn Lomborg argues that global warming is a problem, but it is not the end of the world. The impact of e.g. climate death has decreased since the 1930s, yet people are only hearing one side of the story.

The real challenge today are high cost low impact climate policies, the essence is to spend the money where it will make a real difference including poverty. There’s a lot good to be done, we just need to get our facts right!

Bjørn Lomborg - Copenhagen Conensus Center - is named one of the world's 100 most influential people in 2004. He has also been named "one of the 50 people who could save the planet" by UK Guardian.
