I, Dani Bowman, an animator on the autism spectrum have been teaching animation to students also on the autism spectrum and other related disabilities for the past 5 years at Animation Gets Real, a program that I started 5 years ago with VSAFlorida in Tampa.

Last year, we added the Miami location. This is my second year teaching animation in both Tampa and Miami.

My hopes in teaching at animation summer camps around the country is to inspire others on the autism spectrum and other related disabilities to follow their dreams, and to show them that anything is possible because if I can do it, they can do it.
