Summing up MRCS ENT for you guys
1. MRCS ENT is a 2 day Exam.
2. DAY 1 - Computer based and remotely held. Has scenario based conceptual 20 theoretical questions.
3. DAY 2 - Held in the ROYAL COLLEGES OF UK. Check the RCS websites for dates, eligibility and syllabus.
OSCE DAY 2 - It has 6-7 stations with different tasks - history taking, breaking bad news, taking consent, performing a flexible nasolaryngoscopy, describing and explaining audiograms, performing examinations of cranial nerves, neck , thyroid and ear examinations etc.
Each station is for 7 minutes where the examiner assesses you interacting and performing with actors as patients. ( YOU CANNOT SEE THE TIMER RUNNING).
