HOLE 17 - DIP
After your drive to a sloping fairway which runs to the left of the green, your approach shot is invariably played from a sloping downhill lie. The green slopes away from the player with bunkers to the left. Be careful not to overshoot the green as it will be a tough up and down from there. For some low to medium handicap players, this can be seen as an opportunity to go for the green. Getting this risk and reward shot wrong though could be a card wrecker so close to home.
