50 years ago this month, a group of people gathered outside the Richardson Public Library to bury the City’s Centennial Time Capsule. Flash forward to today where that very same time capsule was carefully unearthed.
Inside were items used to help paint a picture of what life was like in Richardson in 1973.
Watch the video below to see some of the items recovered. The rest of the items will be on display on Saturday, June 24 at the Richardson 150th Anniversary Celebration taking place 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on the Main Street Plaza, located at 105 S. Interurban St.
