In this video, we delve into one of the most enigmatic mysteries in history: the disappearance of three lighthouse keepers from the island of Eilean Mor, located in the Flannan Islands, off the northwest coast of Scotland. In December 1900, Thomas Marshall, James Ducat and Donald MacArthur simply disappeared without a trace, leaving behind a series of disturbing clues. When the boat Hesperus arrived with supplies and a new lighthouse keeper for the shift change, the scene he encountered was unsettling: the lighthouse was out, the mast had no flag flying, a meal had been left untouched on the table, and the men had mysteriously disappeared.
While investigating the lighthouse, Captain James Harvey and lighthouse keeper Joseph Moore discovered even more oddities. Diaries found at the site reported bizarre events, such as storms that did not exist according to meteorological records, unusual behavior of lighthouse keepers and notes that only increased the mystery. What could have led these experienced men, responsible for the security of a vital lighthouse, to disappear without any logical explanation?
Since then, many theories have emerged to try to explain what happened that night. Could it be possible that the lighthouse keepers were victims of a giant wave? Or something more sinister, like a confrontation between them, a supernatural force or even an alien abduction? Even after several investigations, the fate of the three men remains an unsolved mystery.
