The Finnish Navy's Katanpaa-class m1ne countermeasure ship, has deployed the Doble Eagle Mark 2 mine disposal vehicle to undertake the task of identifying mines during BALTOPS 2020 naval military exercises. The vehicle is operated remotely by Finnish Navy MHC Purunpaa crew (41) .
The ship for handling Katanpää-class m1nes is one of three ships multipurpose m1ne handling (MCMV) ordered by the Finnish Navy. The contract for the ship was awarded to the Italian shipyard Intermarine S.p.A in 2006 worth nearly 250 million euros.

Operated remotely, the vehicle is integrated with (ROV) including Saab Double Eagle Mark II ROV and Atlas Electronic SeaFox I ROV.
The Bofors 40mm L / 70 naval weapon which has a firing rate of 300 rounds per minute completes the Katanpaa class ship. The Atlas Electronic f1re control system is in charge of controlling gunf1re.
The low-marked diesel-electric propulsion system that integrates two MTU 8V-396-TE74 diesel engines supports the Katanpaa class vessel in operation. Each engine that drives a Voith Schneider propeller provides a power output of 1,000 kW. The propulsion system provides a service speed of 13 k and a maximum range of 1,500 nm.
