Here's a sight to behold: Two alligators casually swimming in a North Texas lake.

Kaitlin Burgess posted the video to Facebook on May 5, 2024, which shows to alligators swimming in what she says is Eagle Mountain Lake, just northwest of Fort Worth.

The video has garnered hundreds of thousands of views since it was posted.

Texas Parks and Wildlife told WFAA the DFW area "is within the known and expected range of the American Alligator, so it would not be unusual or unexpected for alligators to inhabit appropriate habitat." TPWD officials also said "alligators in an area do not in and of themselves constitute a concern for human safety."
