Demonstrating some ab exercises at a great new training facility eFIT Institute at 105 Beach Road in Hamilton. I am here working out with an inspirational personal trainer Mike Shepherd. Here are stability ball perturbations for abdominal strength. The trainer hits the ball randomly or in a pattern, while the trainee braces their core. The trainee should try to breathe naturally (without holding) and contract their abdominals and glutes at the same time. This exercise helps to improve core strength, balance, and overall strength and stability when performing other resistance exercises. It is a great exercise for fighters and almost any athlete.
