On March 3rd, 2011, the Middle East Institute engaged in a discussion about the Libyan government's response to public revolution and how Libya's outcome will Impact new political directions in the Middle East and North Africa.
The panel was chaired by Peter Awn, Director of the Middle East Institute at Columbia University. The panelists were: Professor of Political Science Ali Ahmida (University of New England), Professor of Poetry Khaled Mattawa (University of Michigan), and Professor of History Peter Gran (Temple University).
