We were proud to be the first to vaccinate our keiki in Hawai‘i by administering the Pfizer COVID 19 vaccine for children ages 5-11 at Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children, Straub Medical Center and Wilcox Medical Center. As 11-year-old Anna said when she came to Kapi‘olani, “I wanted to get vaccinated because my classmates would get exposed or have COVID and I would have to go to online learning and it was just so much harder for me.” Watch this video recap to see and hear what these keiki vaccinations mean for our community, including the kids who got their shots.
