1600 years old!! Chalukya Shiva temple(also known as Lad Khan temple) at Aihole, Karnataka. Unlike the widely used Dravidian(South Indian), Naagara(North Indian) or Veesara (mix of South and North Indian) temple architecture, this uses the not so famous and very early form of temple architecture called Panchayatana style where the structure though made of stone resembles that made of wood with slanting rafters and slanting roof.
