Just as good lp from earlier incarnation of same bunch, the core of the group being the trio of Peggie Telscher (who handles most of the lead vocals), Jim Ford and Dan Boucher. Similar moody folk sound to Blessed Weakness, with maybe slightly more of an elemental home made feel. Piano appears to be more prominent on this project, effectively joining the acoustic guitars to bring soft melodic qualities to ‘Mission: Apostle’ and ‘The Humble Way’, the latter with attractive recorder accompaniment. ‘Stop The World’ follows more of a pure folk format, while ‘Our Father’ and ‘God Conquered’ create beautiful acoustic ballad settings. Seven girls harmonize on ‘Wake! – This Is A Praise-God Day’, another sincere ballad track. One interesting piano blues diversion (‘Creator Blues’), one traditional church organ instrumental (‘Jubilate Deo’), one sprightly finger-picked hymn (‘Christ The King’). Wild rare-looking cover.
