Alexander Sergeyev and soloists of the Mariinsky Ballet: Alexandra Khiteeva, Maria Shirinkina, Daria Ustyuzhanina and others. The Mariinsky Theatre's production of the ballet is in the spirit of Suprematism. The artistic design is dominated by the figurative images of the dot, circle and square, while the color scheme is red, black and yellow. The choreography of the ballet is different from the classical ballet, more free without a definite plot, as the choreographer-director Alexander Sergeyev intended.
