A documentary film that tells the story of the Eastern White Pine tree's role in the establishment of the American colonies in the 1600's, and in the foundation of a new independent nation, the United States of America. It traces the tree's history to the present day, and discusses its importance to wildlife and people through the use of archival footage, stunning photography, and aerial views.
