Today myself and my good friend PotatoMcWhiskey will be talking about our experience of playing civilization at the firaxis studios in Baltimore. A few weeks ago myself Potato and several other creators like RT game, Quill 18 and a host of press and media reviewers went over to Baltimore for a quick 2 night trip and a tour of the offices. As part of the tour we were given a presentation on the game, opportunities to interview the devs, a dinner with the developers and 3 hours to play the first age of the game. This is not sponsored by Firaxis or 2K games and I only had my travel expenses covered, I did not have to make this stream but I felt it was a good idea.

On the stream today we will discuss and answer topics related to civ 7 as it is safe to say the shift from sid Meier's Civilization VI and Civilization VII is a big one. As the 7th entry to the series this game has made many large changes to the gameplay loop of 4x grand strategy. So we will help you wrap your head around some of these features like the ages / era system, religion, generals, technology, district placement, wonders and the complicated release date system.

Hopefully you will leave this stream with a better idea of what to expect from civ 7.
