In this talk, Archit Baskaran, a student at Northwestern University, engages us in an exposé of the intersectionality between Indian and Western Classical Culture. Based on his recent TEDx Talk, “A Tale of Two Melodies: Exploring the Nexus Between Indian and Western Classical Music,” Archit uses music as a lens to describe the similarities and differences between two cultures that are seemingly diametric.
