Arsénio Ribeiro and Nelson Amorim from the Development Team of TOWORKFOR / AMF SAFETY SHOES presented this workshop about the entire manufacturing process of a safety shoe during the third session of the SAFETY FOOTWEAR REVOLUTION WEEK 2020.

The present pandemic the World is living in, the controversial geopolitical tensions, and the increasing environmental challenges we’re facing, alongside unprecedented materials, artificial intelligence, and workforce evolution, create a moment of enormous uncertainty and opportunities for the Footwear Manufacturing sector.

Seeking to find answers to these urgent matters, AMF SAFETY SHOES, TOWORKFOR, and ALOFT – with the support of APICCAPS, CTCP, and the EUROPEAN FOOTWEAR CONFEDERATION – decided to organize the SAFETY FOOTWEAR REVOLUTION WEEK. A fully digital and virtual conference that aims to be a milestone in the footwear Sector.

Divided into four-morning sessions – from 23rd to 26th of November 2020 – four main topics/revolutions were under debate: EUROPEAN INDUSTRY (23 Nov); DIGITAL (24 Nov); TECHNICAL FOOTWEAR (25 Nov); ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY (26 Nov).
