I am thankful to LLS for allowing me to cover such a touching event. I lost my grandmother to Leukemia many years ago. I never was able to meet her. She lost her battle to Leukemia at the early age of 36. It was important to me that I attended and was able to cover such a meaningful event. After covering this event, I plan to take part next year.
