More than 30 homes and properties have been destroyed as a bushfire continues to burn out of control in Western Australia.

According to local reports, more than 200 firefighters were working to control the fire. It is burning about 40 kilometres from Perth.

Authorities told residents they must evacuate their homes if they do not feel safe, despite a five-day COVID-19 lockdown in Perth.
