The pinned comment covers a lot of popular issues so please check that as well!
First off, from here on please keep questions in this update video. I will not be supporting the old one anymore. (I've been getting the same questions in both.)
This is not quite up to the speed of my typical runs due to slightly slow going with the first Moblin who I should not have gone after quite so early (let him come more towards you). Suffices it to say though that "under 2 minutes" is a good indicator. Anyone who saw my original video, a lot is the same but I'm using a better farming weapon properly built, completing it in under half the time, and showing where to get the ingredients for Materials food.
Astute observers may note that the material amounts in my thumbnail do not match the results of this video. They're from the original deleted Dragonbone Moblin Club video of a different run (I made minimal changes to the thumbnail) so are still indicative of what you can expect to get from this mission.
Results will vary depending on how precisely you can mimic this method such as weapon level/seals/unlocked recipes/food cap/unlocked stables/whether you've actually unlocked this mission... I got 22,659 rupees in sales this run, which is a low-tier run, you can get several thousand more than this.
This is my recommended build. There was a bug that affected the seal below consecutive seals but that has been fixed. Make sure your game is up to date:
- Sensor-Registered Material Drop Rate
- Sensor-Registered Material Drop Rate
- Sensor-Registered Material Drop Rate
- Sensor-Registered Material Drop Rate
- Rare-Material Drop Rate
- Monster-Part Drop Rate
METHOD:
In my previous video, people including me spoke of using other characters such as Revali or Bow Zelda instead for speed. They have no such advantage against this build!
- Preferably play on a lower difficulty level for a quicker farm.
- Set up your character with a monster-part farming weapon as best you can, preferably using the Sensor-Registered seals as shown in this video. If you don't have those, you can substitute for your best Monster-Part seals.
- Manually add all 3 Bokoblin parts to the Sheikah Sensor as demonstrated in the video. (If you're using ONLY Monster-Part Drop seals, not any Sensor-Registered Material Drop Rate ones, you can omit this step.)
- Cook as many Material Drop Rate dishes as you can (up to 3 for an extra 45%).
- Go to a level with lots of Bokoblins (preferably the one in the video or if you don't mind taking longer, the first story mission in the game, "The Battle of Hyrule Field").
- Save enough specials to easily conclude the end-of-level battle. How many gauges you'll need will depend on your weapon, etc. In my case I can take it easy here.
- Sell the Bokoblin parts to the Rito merchant Segimo for the best price. He's not there after EVERY mission so if he's absent, do another mission (such as this one again) until he appears. He's not always at the same stable. Sometimes he's very awkward to get to appear. I could often achieve it during my farming by doing this mission 3 times, followed by Mysterious Arrivals twice (checking after each mission) but I forget if that's a guaranteed solution. Expect it not to be.
- Use the rupees to level warriors up or whatever.
You don't have to immediately kill the boss, you can continue to rack up Bokoblin kills in order to conserve ingredients for food. I go for an extra 100 here.
