In todays video we begin our stay in Utah. For the first two weeks of our trip we chose Kanab as it was a central spot to all we wanted to do and see in Utah. This is becoming a very popular area and has a number of RV parks and dry camping opportunities. Plus there are quite a few fun things to do in town that require very little driving. And major attractions such as Zion, Bryce and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon are all within a 90 minute drive.
We discuss the places we saw and the travel time (upcoming videos will highlight these areas), take you on a short driving tour of the town where we show you some of our favorite places, go on two short hikes in town and we talk about where we stayed and why.
Let us know if you are heading to the area or have any questions. We very much enjoyed our stay here and think that we did pick the perfect spot to see southern Utah!
As always - Happy Camping and Safe Travels!
