A afternoon walk on the Cornish north cliffs to a mine site called Wheal Tye. Situated in a heavily mined region of coast, these tin workings once went down to over 600ft below the surface. Mining started on the site around 1500-1700, the site has been worked around 1850 - 1855 and even in 1920's.
