Finally a good arc The arc encompassed a series of short stories focused on key Naruto characters during their childhood This arc excels in its portrayal of Naruto's emotional growth and how he coped with the negative perception he faced from the village The scene where the Third Hokage and Naruto share dinner and engage in conversation was exceptionally well-executed The animation quality throughout the arc is consistently excellent It was truly sad to witness Neji's childhood kindness and gentleness transform into cruelty due to the circumstances within the Hyuga clan The pacing is deliberately slow, which aligns perfectly with the contemplative and serene nature of the arc I haven't mentioned this in a while, but the color work in this arc is truly fantastic I really felt like the authors listened to their audience and expanded on the characters we love If every filler arc had been of the same quality as this one, I would have been so happy and I’m giving this an easy 10 out of 10
