***IMPORTANT: I want to emphasize, the 101-VCO will be tuned and calibrated before send them out, your module should only require very small adjustments to TR1 and possibly TR2 to suit your system.***
Today I am giving a full overview of my new 101-VCO. The 101-VCO is a Eurorack adaptation the Roland SH-101 voltage controlled oscillator.
The Tuning section of this overview covers the full tune calibration procedure. *****Be sure the synth you use as a reference tone (I'm using a Juno-1) has its own VCO set for the appropriate octave you're tuning.**** I do this off camera, sorry I left that important part out. Also, if you're having to start over on the tuning procedure, be sure to dial TR1 and TR2 back to the middle of their range, approximately 12-13 turns from full stop in either direction.
